1. PFF5-201G – Front Wishbone Rear Bush, Caster Adjusted
PFF5-201G offers additional +2° of caster and is a high performance option to PFF5-201. Aimed at offering greater precision with improved geometry for people wanting the very best from their Mini. This new part, fitted to the rear of the front wishbone has a hard anodised aluminium outer shell with one of our unique low friction polyurethane centre bushes. The poly/alu combination creates a low friction rotating bush reducing the forces acting on the arm. Lower arm deflection has been decreased by reducing the compliant material within the aluminium shell. Additional caster angle will give more negative camber when cornering giving improved tyre to road contact. Results are improved geometry when turning giving additional grip, steering control and feel with less movement in the arm under cornering and braking.

PFF5K-201 Front Wishbone Rear Bush & Bracket fits Mini Gen 2 R56/R57 and uses our existing PFF5-101 bush. A lasting, better-performing polyurethane bush alternative, like Powerflex, has always been a popular upgrade for owners but whilst our bushes are very easy to fit, sometimes removing the original bushes from the OE housing brackets can be difficult, especially for those with limited access to pressing or pulling tools. Pre-installed in quality brackets, they simply require fitting onto the arm and bolting into position saving both time and money.

Designed to replace the softer rubber voided OE mount that is prone to cracking, allowing for excessive engine movement and wheel hop, PFF5-220P Lower Torque Mount Bracket & Bush (Purple 80A) is 400% stiffer than OE and recommended for higher powered cars used on the road/track. Combining a CNC machined aluminium lower torque mount with various durometer bush options to suit differing states of tune, it’s a great way of reducing engine movement for more balanced on/off throttle handling while improving gear shifting precision. It’s also super easy to replace – just two bolts and it’s out with the old, in with the new and no pressing out of any rubber! A small increase in NVH, usually at idle, should be expected when stiffening the connecting mount between the engine/transmission and chassis. The harder the material used, the greater the NVH transmitted.
